Update–SeptemberQuarterFY27(Appendix4CResults)
Pure Foods Tasmania Limited (ASX: PFT) 26th
October 2026
Pure Foods Tasmania Limited (PFT or the Company) is pleased to provide the following
update to accompany its Appendix 4C for the quarter ended 30 September 2026.
Key highlights
§ Customer receipts increased 60% to $1.22M, compared with $764,000 in the
September 2025 quarter;
§ Operating cash outflow reduced 69% to $311,000, an improvement of $692,000 on
the prior corresponding period;
§ Manufacturing and operating cash payments decreased 23% to $797,000,
compared with $1.03M;
§ Administration and corporate cash payments decreased 31% to $265,000,
compared with $383,000.
Improved operating performance
PFT delivered a substantial improvement in operating cash flow during the September
quarter, with higher customer receipts and lower manufacturing and corporate cash
payments reducing the Group’s operating cash outflow. Growth in customer receipts was
largely driven by the acquisitions completed by the Group and new customers secured.
Customer receipts increased by $457,000 compared with the prior corresponding period.
Manufacturing and operating cash payments decreased by $234,000, while administration
and corporate cash payments decreased by $118,000.
The results represent encouraging progress in the Group’s turnaround. While operating cash
flow remained negative, the $692,000 reduction in quarterly operating cash outflow is a
meaningful step towards sustainable positive operating cash flow.

Priorities for the December quarter
As PFT enters the Christmas and summer trading period, management remains focused on
growing sales across its brand portfolio, improving production efficiency and maintaining
tight control of costs and working capital.
Key priorities include:
§ Securing customer agreements and converting the sales pipeline into confirmed
orders;
§ Progressing new commercial opportunities across retail, distribution and contract
manufacturing;
§ Increasing production volumes and plant utilisation to support growth and improve
manufacturing efficiency;
§ Maintaining disciplined management of costs and working capital as the business
builds towards sustainable positive operating cash flow.
Reflecting growing confidence in the business, PFT strengthened its management team with
the appointment of an Operations Manager in June 2026 and a Head of Sales in late
September 2026. These appointments provide dedicated leadership across operations and
sales, allowing Robert Knight, who commenced as Managing Director on 1 July 2026, to focus
more closely on strategy, business development and progressing new commercial
opportunities.
Further work remains, but the September quarter results demonstrate a substantial
improvement on the prior corresponding period and provide an encouraging foundation for
continued progress. The Company looks forward to updating the market as it progresses
these priorities.
