2.6 Brief explanation of the figures above:
Revenue was marginally down on last year by $56,769 due to further rationalisation of products that were non
profitable due to high distribution costs and/or expense of ingredients of products.
The loss of $8.78m is heavily impacted by non-cash items such as $4.48m write off in December 25 of Deferred Tax
Asset. This was due to the application of an accounting standard that PFT was unlikely to use all the carried forward
losses within a 5-year period. The write-off does not mean PFT loses the potential benefit of these losses, just that it is
unable to show the asset in the Company’s accounts. Additionally, PFT has written off Goodwill of $1.225m for 2026;
and Depreciation of $772k. These non-cash items total $6.477m of the $8.78m loss leaving an unaudited cash loss of
$2.3m compared to $2.369m loss for 2025. The 2026 result includes abnormal or non-recurring expenditure of
$734,167.

sophisticated investors, raising $750k with options attached at a strike price of 5 cents (expiry 2 years from issue). The
recapitalisation had significant improvements in the Company’s current liability and borrowings.

14. Commentary on Results for the Period
During FY26 the Company continued to implement its turnaround strategy and has recruited (and agreed to recruit)
for a number of senior roles in Finance, Operations and Sales management. These appointments will now move the
Company to a more sustainable position and improvements are becoming evident:
• Cost of goods sold remains a focus and has been maintained at 80%, providing an overall 20% Gross Profit in a
period of increased prices and pressure from the market;
• Total overhead expenses moved from 84% of revenue in 2025 to 76% in 2026; and
• The work of removing non profitable product lines or activities is continually under review.
